Originally from Hamburg, DJ and producer David August is a classically trained pianist who performs live sets and releases music ranging from deep melodic house to experimental ambient. He runs the record label 99CHANTS and has released music on Diynamic, Innervisions, and Counter Records. The 2014 track Epikur remains his breakout release and regularly surfaces in melodic house sets.
